Chemical Identification
HazRAE
HazRAE is a hazardous materials decision support application for
chemical, biological and WMD assessments that runs on handheld,
wireless devices. The HazRAE database contains more than 91,000
chemical, biological warfare and bioterror agents, trade names,
and improvised explosive devices. Materials can be retrieved using
traditional search identifiers such as name or UN number, but
when no standard identifiers are present or known, HazRAE is able
to identify unknown chemicals using observable physical characteristics
and signs and symptoms observed in victims
M
(C) 8/M-9
The Chemical Agent Liquid Detector papers were designed to meet
the need for a simple, rapid method of detecting and differentiating
between the 3 major groups of liquid chemical warfare agents.
The detectors papers can quickly determine the presence of G,
V or H agents in liquid.
M256A1
The M256A1 Chemical Agent Detector Kit is a compact, simple-to-use
kit designed to detect blister, nerve, blood and Lewisite agents.
Nerve agents: G, V
Blood Agents: AC, CK
Mustard: H, HD
Lewisite: L
HazMat
Smart-Strip
Instantly identifies nerve, cyanide, hydrogen sulfide, arsenic,
acids/caustics, fluoride, oxidizers, and chlorine. (12 hour operational
timeframe) 2 year shelf life.
HazCat
Chemical Identification System
Can help you identify or characterize thousands of unknown or
mislabeled substances. HazCat does the chemistry for you. Further
action then becomes a clearer path based on solid science, not
a guess.
Civil
Defense Simultest (CDS) Kit
Are you prepared to respond to a terrorist attack involving the
use of chemical weapons? In today’s world, immediate and
accurate detection of toxic chemicals is crucial. The Draeger
CDS Kit uses specially developed Draeger-Tubes (the same tubes
used by NATO forces) into a quick and easy to use kit. Two simultaneous
Test Sets measure a wide range of chemical substances including
nerve, blood, lung, and blister agents.
Gases Measured: Chlorine, Hydrocyanic Acid,
Phosgene, Cyanogen Chloride, Organic Arsenic Compounds and Arsine
(e.g. Lewisite), Nerve Agents (via Phosphoric Acid Esters) and
Blister Agents (Mustard and other Organic Basic Nitrogen Compounds).
Haz-Mat Simultest Kit
Designed primarily for the municipal fire service and other emergency
responders, this kit quickly identifies and quantifies a wide
range of chemical substances using the Draeger Simultaneous Test
Sets. The Simultaneous Test Sets are sets of five specially matched
DrägerTubes designed to be the fastest, simplest and most
comprehensive means hazardous material identification. The Haz-Mat
Simultest Kit includes three Simultaneous Test Set Kits for measuring
15 different Organic and Inorganic chemicals and/or chemical families.
Accuro Pump
The accuro gas detector pump is a manually operated bellows pump
that draws a calibrated 100 milliliter sample through the short-term
Dräger-Tubes. Short-Term Measurements with Dräger-Tubes
For short-term measurements more than 160 Dräger-Tubes are
available to measure the so-called spot concentrations of specific
gases.
CMS Analyzer
Accurate gas measurements are made easier with the Dräger
CMS. This new generation spot-check detection device is literally
as easy as 1-2-3 to operate. Simply insert one of the 55 chemical
specific CMS-Chips into the Analyzer and follow the instructions
on the display.
CMS Emergency Response Kit
Put the simplicity of the CMS to work for you in your emergency
response procedures. The Response Kit contains the Dräger
CMS Analyzer, the appropriate accessories, and a selection of
10 different Chips for response to Haz-Mat or other situations.
Clan Lab Specific
HazCat Chemical Identification System
Can help you identify or characterize thousands of unknown or
mislabeled substances. The Meth Kit Option is
specific to clandestine methamphetamine labs and their associated
chemicals and wastes.
Clan Lab Simultest Kit
As the problem of methamphetamine production in clandestine labs
continues to grow, more First Responders and law enforcement personnel
are being put into situations where they must be able to ensure
their safety from potentially toxic or explosive conditions. This
Clan Lab Simultest Set allows the user to quickly determine the
degree of exposure to target chemicals found on site and confirm
the appropriate level of respiratory protection.
SKC MethAlert Advantages
Helps law enforcement and first responders make decisions in the
field. MethAlert is fast and easy to use.
Developed by NIOSH, Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
M ethAlert is a colorimetric test that detects
the presence of methamphetamine residue on surfaces from 15 to
5000 micrograms/100 cm2. Results should not be used for clearance
purposes.
